Wilma
For July, the featured patient AND caregiver of the month will be Wilma. She is not only a cancer patient herself but has been a caregiver for many throughout her life. She has communicated to me that what she misses most in her life are hugs and conversations. This woman is hardworking, tough as nails and gives without limit. I humbly ask for you all to offer her words and gifts of support, kindness and encouragement. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life and is continuing to fight.
Caregiver of the month
Wilma
Wilma is the first patient and caregiver to start off this club as she deserves every bit to be. Her life has been about giving and supporting others around her from her children, husband and friends. She has fought through the toughest of times and its about time she is supported and is given back to. Her husband was diagnosed with colon and skin cancer along parkinson's disease which caused a steady decline over the years. She has stood by his side and did her best to take care of him. Now, she is struggling with her own health and words of support, prayers, kind words and humor will remind her she is loved and not going through this alone.
